To fully implement work safety regulations and uphold the safety philosophy of People-oriented, Safety First, Prevention Prioritized, FERROFOSS strictly adheres to the corporate management principles of "Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost", and further promotes 6S management. The company officially kicked off the 2026 Work Safety Month campaign on June 1. A full range of well-structured safety activities have been rolled out to strengthen all employees’ safety awareness and consolidate the foundation of workplace safety.
Organized by the company’s Work Safety Committee, the campaign has set up dedicated teams including evacuation, fire fighting, first aid, communication, on-site security and mobile response teams, as well as a volunteer fire brigade. Clear division of responsibilities ensures smooth implementation of all activities. Centering on boosting safety awareness and securing stable production, the company has established a three-dimensional work mechanism integrating publicity & education, daily inspections and emergency drills.
Since the launch of the campaign, a strong safety atmosphere has been created across the plant. Banners featuring the slogan "Enhance Safety Awareness, Ensure Safe Production and Drive Corporate Growth" have been hung in prominent areas to spread safety concepts. Regular safety training and three-level safety education have been carried out for all staff to popularize safety knowledge, operational standards and risk prevention skills. These efforts help employees stay alert to potential hazards and improve their overall safety literacy and risk identification capabilities.
In terms of on-site management, inspections focusing on safety control, equipment maintenance and environmental hygiene have been intensified under the 6S framework. Weekly routine checks, problem rectification and post-inspection reviews have been implemented to form a long-term supervision mechanism. Potential safety risks are identified and addressed promptly to guard the bottom line of safe production via refined management.
To verify the effectiveness of emergency plans and improve staff’s capabilities in emergency response, teamwork as well as self and mutual rescue amid fire and other unexpected incidents, a company-wide full-scale fire drill was held at 16:30 on June 9 at the open area in front of the office building. The Production Manager served as the chief commander and the Safety Officer as the deputy commander. All teams performed their duties in close coordination throughout the drill.
The communication team sounded the alarm and made a simulated call to the fire department, reporting the location, fire situation and on-site personnel clearly. The evacuation team guided all employees to evacuate to the designated safe area along preset routes in an orderly manner, followed by headcount and timely report. The fire fighting team put on protective gear and conducted practical operations with fire extinguishers and hydrants. The first aid team performed simulated wound dressing and rescue, while the whole process was fully recorded.
After the drill, the chief commander delivered on-site comments, put forward optimization suggestions on evacuation efficiency, equipment operation and team collaboration, and further revised the company’s emergency response protocols.
All activities were conducted in full compliance with safety codes. The drill schedule was announced in advance, and special assistance was arranged for pregnant women and staff with limited mobility to avoid crowding and stampedes. All fire-fighting facilities were inspected and reset after the drill to ensure the fire protection system functioned normally.
Work safety is an ongoing mission. This Work Safety Month campaign has solidified the company’s safety management system and greatly improved employees’ risk prevention awareness and emergency response skills. Moving forward, FERROFOSS will take this campaign as a starting point to integrate safety management into daily operations. We will continue regular hazard inspections and safety training, embed the safety philosophy into every aspect of production and operation, strictly observe the red line of work safety, and provide solid support for the long-term sound development of the enterprise.
